Sloths

Slow and steady wins the race - let's work together to keep our sloths safe.

Sloths are extremely vulnerable to habitat loss. While changes are happening from building roads, farms, and more, sloths are slow to adapt to these changes. Because of this, one species of sloth is critically endangered, and another is vulnerable on IUCN's Red List.

Together we can create a sustainable world for sloths.

Our partners, The Sloth Conservation Foundation, are leaders in sloth conservation and science activity. They believe in empowering local communities and creating win-win scenarios that help conserve sloths, and allow humans to continue their routines.

Know that 100% of your donations will go to our partners at The Sloth Conservation Foundation.

Fun Fact: Without sloths, we would not have avocados and lose a potential cure for cancer.

Sloth Conservation Foundation

The Sloth Conservation Foundation (SloCo) protects sloths in the wild through research and conservation initiatives. Based in Costa Rica, their work includes re-greening rainforests, installation of sloth crossings, scientific research/publications, and monitoring sloth populations.

SloCo's research has been fundamental in the creation of various conservation strategies. They continuously fund, coordinate and publish high-quality research. Sloth Conservation Foundation is dedicated to creating lasting solutions in the rapidly changing habitats our six species of sloth call home.
