Let's bring clean water to those who currently have no access to it.
Every day, millions are walking for hours to fill up a pot or jerry can with water that isn’t even clean. Women and girls are responsible in 8 out of 10 households for collecting the water - making it difficult for them to attend school.
Children are most susceptible to diseases like parasitic worms, diarrhea, and cholera - causing up to 10% of deaths in children before the age of 5.
Clean water isn’t a secluded problem. 780 million people across the world do not have access to clean water.
The good news is, together, we can solve the water crisis.
For $24/mo, you can give 12 people clean drinking water every year. For $10,000, you can sponsor an entire well project. 100% of your donation will go directly to our clean water partner.
The Water Trust
The Water Trust empowers the poorest rural communities in Uganda to provide clean water and healthy homes for children and their families to thrive. The Water Trust partners with villages and schools to address critical gaps in water, sanitation, and hygiene by building infrastructure and coaching community members.
While The Water Trust is not the only organization focused on WASH projects, they have an innovative approach to ensuring the longevity of clean water in Uganda. The Water Trust focuses on connecting with local communities to educate them on well operation and create savings groups to pool funds for the upkeep of their wells.
